Societal exhaustion Can spirituality lead us out of the crisis?
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article presents, analyzes and reflects on the spiritual underpinnings of popular strategies to avoid and cope with exhaustion in contemporary late modern society from a Christian-theological perspective. Based on phenomenological observations and drawing on sociological diagnoses of the times, the theological reflections aim to identify practices of spirituality that are effective in addressing and preventing cycles of exhaustion and fit well into a Christian understanding of reality.
