On intergenerational justice, the intergenerational contract and the erosion of solidarity Climate policies and the pension system
Main Article Content
Abstract
Broad-ranging issues regarding a reconciliation of interest between generations can not be comprehensively addressed by the individualistic evaluation criteria, which are otherwise suitable for economic purposes. This iss illustrated on two specific examples: climate policies and the pension system. Both areas are intrinsically linked to questions of intergenerational justice. The article will present a summary of potential evaluation principles that can serve as key parameters in the political debate on balancing intergenerational interests.
