Abstract

Taking Margaret Atwood’s short story “Torching the Dusties” as a starting point, this article reveals the intersections and interdependencies between discourses on climate change and discourses on age. Questions regarding fault and resource equity and how these are related will be investigated based on literarygerontological and climate-ethical principles. The aim is to encourage a generationally balanced discourse on climate change.
